NCI's Breast Cancer Education Program creates messages and educational materials for professionals who counsel women at all stages along the cancer continuum - from cancer risk and screening, abnormal test results and diagnosis, to treatment choices and survivorship. OESI works with intermediary organizations to develop, disseminate and evaluate its program efforts. OESI maintains an inventory of Federal programs and products with the goal of synchronizing NCI's materials with other federal programs to maximize efforts and impact.
Partnering Opportunities:
Organizations can partner on various program aspects. OESI currently has a need for surgical teams to review and pilot a patient decision aid on early-stage breast cancer treatment options and for bilingual health care professionals to review and comment on Spanish-language materials. OESI is also interested in partnering with organizations who reach medically-underserved women.
